Rolwaling Valley Trek

Rolwaling Valley TrekRolwaling Valley Trekking is one of the less travelled trail of Khumbu region. It falls under Gaurishankar Himalayan Range in the west of Mahalangur range in the Eastern Nepal. The valley is named after Mt. Rolwaling which is situated between the Everest trekking region and Langtang region.

Rolwaling Valley Trek has its finest beauty in bio- diversity. The tourists visit this area because the trekking does not need any experience and trainings. The region is full of flora and fauna including the rare animals and birds. In this region, 16 different vegetation types, 235 of birds, 34 spices of mammal, 16 of fishes, 14 of snakes, 10 of amphibians, 8 of lizards etc. are found.  Himalayan black bear, musk deer, monkey and more than 250 spices of birds are making the home in the forest of Rolwaling valley.

Rolwaling Valley Trek provides the magnificent view of the mountains- Rolwaling Himal, Mt. Gaurishankar, Mt. Dorje Lakpa, Chobabhamre peak, Melungtse peak, Pachermo peak and Yalung Ri. The main attraction of the trek is Tsho Rolpa Glacier Lake. The trekking trail also provides the opportunity to explore Beding village and Na Gaun. Different ancient monasteries and chörtens also give you spiritual peace while exploring them.

Rolwaling Valley Trek is less visited by tourists because of its remoteness. It has mysterious story of a snow man called ‘Yeti’. The name of valley Rolwaling means ‘the grave’ because it is deep down between the two giant mountains of the Khumbu region- Mt. Everest and Mt. Langtang.

Langtang Valley Trek offers the finest scenery throughout the journey. The forest of rhododendron, and pine interspersed with terraced fields and villages are picturesque for the new comers. The crossing over suspension bridges and wooden bridge also gives heart rendering experience. All in all, the trekking through Rolwaling Valley Trek gives everlasting experience to the trekkers.

Day 15: Trek from Trashi Cape to Thyomgbo, (4350m.).
Day 16: Trek Thyomgbo to Thame, (3820m.).
Day 17: Trek from Thame to Namche Bazaar, (3440m.).
Day 18: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.).
Day 19: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Trashi Lapcha / Pachhermo peak climbing / 20 Days
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to Horizon hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing and preparation day
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Dolakha, (1660m.) then to Shingati, (920m.).
Day 04: Trek from Shingati to Jagat, (1440m.).
Day 05: Trek from Jagat to Simigaon, (2020m.).
Day 06: Trek from Simigaon to Daldung La, (3975m.).
Day 07: Trek from Daldung La to Beding, (3690m.).
Day 08: Trek from Beding to Na, (4180m.).
Day 09: Rest Day at Na for preparation for Ramdung Go (5930m).
Day 10: Explore around.
Day 11: Trek from Na to Tso Rolpa Lake (4540m.).
Day 12: Trek Tso Rolpa to Trakarding Glacier, (4800m.).
Day 13: Trek from Trakarding Glacier to Trashi Lapcha Pedi Camp, (5755m.).
Day 14: Pachermo summit and back to Trashi Cave, (5110m.).
Day 15: An extra day if you couldn't get summit on first attempt because of bad weather or some reason.
Day 16: Trek from Trashi Cape to Ngole, (500m.).
Day 17: Trek Nhole to Thame, (3820m.).
Day 18: Trek from Thame to Namche Bazaar, (3440m.).
Day 19: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.).
Day 20: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
