Langtang- Gonjala Pass trek is natural, adventurous and cultural trekking trip in Langtang region. This trek combines the three different important places- Langtang valley, Gonjala pass and Helambu. Langtang valley is naturally important because romantic natural scenes and scenery can be seen from Langtang valley. Gonjala Pass is one of the challenging pass of Langtang region which makes this trek adventurous. Helambu is important for Sherpa culture as well as picturesque views. This trek starts from Syabrubesi and reach to Langtang valley via Lama Hotel. The trek go through the Langtang National park where trekkers can see the beautiful forests of rhododendron and conifer, different species of birds and butterflies, and different species of wild animals such as red panda, wild dog, musk deer, pika, muntjac, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan thar, Ghoral, Serow, rhesus monkey and common langur. After excursion in Langtang valley trek descend to lama Hotel and heads to Helambu via Gonjala pass.
Helambu is situated in close to the Tibetan border so Sherpa people of Helambu depict culture and religion of Tibetan Buddhist people. During Helambu visit one can know the Tibetan Buddhist culture, traditions, systems, customs, rituals and festivals. Beside cultural attraction Helambu is famous for striking natural scenes and sacred religious sites. According to Buddhist legend Helambu is one of the seven hidden valleys where Buddhist monks used to practice Buddhist meditation. According to Buddhist legend this Helambu valley was called Yolmo where the guru Padmasambhava meditated many years ago. Legend says since ancient time many Yogi and monks came to Yolmo valley for meditation and returned with enlightened so Helambu is also called the valley of Meditation. Around the Helambu there are many sacred monasteries, Gompas and caves where monks and Yogi used to practice meditation. This trek is considered easy and provides the spectacular views of the Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Jugal Himal and Gangchenpo.

Day 06: Acclimatization at Langtang
Day 07: Langtang village trek to Kyanjin Gompa-4060m
Day 08: After breakfast, your guide will take to Tseko Ri-5033m for panoramic Himalayan scenery
Day 09: Kyanjin Gompa trek to Ganga La phedi-4300m
Day 10: Ganga la to Keldang-4300m crossing over Ganja La pass-5122m
Day 11: Gonja la base camp trek to Yak Kharka-4000m
Day 12: Yamjela Ri to Amjela Ri 3560m
Day 13: Yak Kharka to Tarke Ghayang 2530m
Day 14: Tarke Ghyang trek to Sermathang-2550m
Day 15: Sermathang to Melamchi Pulbazaar
Day 16: Melamchi Pul bazaar by bus or wished vehicle back to Kathmandu.
Day 17: Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley such as Baudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Darvar Square, Syambhunath Stupa (monkey temple), overnight at hotel
Day 18: Transfer to airport for your departure
