Jomsom Muktinath is moderate romantic trek in lower Mustang region. This trek takes you to the barren landscapes of Mustang region which is also called deserted land of Nepal. Mustang region is one of the best trekking destinations of Nepal where trekkers want to go frequently because of its natural and cultural beauty. There are several artistic geographical figures in Mustang which catches the eye of everyone. Absence of rain and mountains seen at back are the prominent feature of Mustang. In mustang there are many villages of Tibetan Buddhist and Thakalis rich for their old preserved culture, systems, traditions, customs, rituals, festivals, religion and way of life which are central attraction of the trekkers.
Jomsom Muktinath trekking starts from Beni and reach to the Muktinath temple through the Kaligandaki and Muktinath valley. On the way trekkers complete the romantic journey by walking through the world deepest gorge located between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains, trekkers pass the beautiful Rupse waterfalls, hot water ponds, apple garden, most windy trail, monastery village Kagbeni and some typical villages of Thakalis and Buddhist. During Jomsom Muktinath trek trekkers go through the side of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains and when they gradually move forward these mountains remains at their back.
Muktinath is one of the important pilgrimage sites of both Hindu and Buddhist people. Hindu people believe that their great lord Vishnu got salvation from the curse in the form of Saligrams in Muktinath. So, Hindu people around the world gathered in Muktinath temple to take holy bath to get salvation from their past sins. There are lots of attractive things in Muktinath such as Ancient Muktinath temple, Mukti kunda, 108 cow headed water sprouts, holy fire, monasteries and Gompas. Every year in August full moon day great bathing festival of Hindu and Yartung festival of Thakalis held in Muktinath. So if the trekkers want to know the some important aspects of these festivals they can go for Muktinath trek in August.

Day 01: Arrival in Nepal, transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sight seeing aroung Kathmandu and pre trip meeting.
Day 03: Drive or ( flight ) to Pokhara along Trisuli river takes 7 hours, over night in hotel.
Day 04: Flight to Jomsom 2720m. Jomsom is the District headquater of Mustang.
Day 05: Jomsom to Kagbeni 2800m is all the way throgh Kaligandaki River.
Day 06: Kagbeni to Muktinath 3760m.
Day 07: Muktinath to Marpha 2670m.
Day 08: Marpha to Kalopani 2530m.
Day 09: Kalopani to Tatopani 1190m.
Day 10: Tatopani to Ghorepani 2860m
Day 11: Ghorepani to Pokhara via Nayapool, then drive back to Pokhara.
