Langtang Ganja La Pass Trek
Langtang Ganja La Pass trek is a popular challenging trekking route in Langtang Himalaya region, which is located north of Kathmandu, offers a mass of destination trekking. Lantang Ganja La pass trek presents scenic Himalayan views, flourishing Tibetan culture and dramatic Langtang Helambu valley. Langtang Ganja La pass trek starts from Syabrubesi connected with Katmandu by 120 Kilometers, Trekking trail follows through alpine forests, wealthy flora and fauna and high elevation meadowland which is used to be a unique wilderness trek route.
At a height of 3800 meters Kyanjin Gompa would be a very good place for acclimatization, suggest you to hike up to Langtang Ri 4200m view point to get a view towards Ganza La pass and a close sight glacier on this day. The outlooks to the north from the pass are Langtang Lirung and the snow capped peaks towards Tibet together with outstanding Shisha Pangma at 8013m as well as views of many series of hills to the south. Naya Kanga peak (5846m), earlier named Ganja La Chuli is to the west from the pass. The descent from Ganja La pass is tough and dangerous as most mountain descent, seems more deceitful than the climbing. As Langtang Ganja La pass trek is adventurous, trekkers need climbing skills and equipments to do this trek.
